Zebadiah Joseph
Taulbee
January 21, 1998 — August 7, 2024
El Dorado
On August 7th 2024 the world lost a gentle soul when Zebediah Joseph Taulbee, 26, departed this world unexpectedly of natural causes. He began his short journey on January 21, 1998 in Sevierville, Tennessee.
As a true gentleman his generosity, empathetic kindness, politeness, humility and sarcastic quick witted sense of humor was the very core of his soul. He had a bold ethical mindset and would defend his position without hesitation and although he hated to argue he was a great debater and master of playing "The Devil's Advocate". One of his favorite quotes was "I may not agree with what you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it" and as an autodidact with boundless curiosity he was quite knowledgeable on a wide variety of subjects.
Zeb had a deep bond with animals and they gravitated to him knowing that he would love them, keep them from harm and tend to their every need.
He maintained a humble lifestyle accompanied by his personal soundtrack consisting of an eclectic mixture of music from every genre with Pink Floyd and Phil Collins speaking to him the deepest. He was an awesome cook, gifted hacker and avid gamer with love for the nigth sky, driving, drift cars, thunder storms, cloudy rainy days, sunsets and coffee.
He was preceded in death by his father David Roger Taulbee; bonus dad Jim Tarkipour; furbabies Ms. Gizzy and Ms. Teddy "Baked Potato".
He leaves behind his mother Michal-Ann Miller; uncles, aunts, cousins and a worldwide extended family and beloved friends.

Last Tuesday a beloved member of our community suffered the unspeakable tragedy of coming home and finding her son deceased in his room. Many of you know Michal-Ann Miller as a staple in the community, whether it be as your dedicated and friendly Jump Start Cashier or as she welcomes your loved ones to their stay at the Holiday Inn. Michal-Ann is the very definition of strength and resilience as anyone who has ever heard her story knows.
No one could ever prepare for this tragedy. As parents, we never think of a day where we outlive our babies. Our hearts, thoughts and prayers go out to her and her entire family. Zeb Taulbee was 28 years old and such a gentle soul. .
Our community is so amazing at coming together, rallying around, and showing love to those who need it the most. Her Holiday Inn Family is hosting a fundraiser to help raise funds to cover his cremation. The cremation and associated costs total over $2000 and every single dollar helps.
Michal-Ann is one of the most generous people and would never ask anyone for anything, so we are extending an invitation to the community to join us in raising money and having some fun. During this time of loss the last thing she needs to worry about is how she is going to pay for all of this.
Lets show her some love El Dorado!
There are several ways to help if you cannot join us. Donations will all be donated directly to Michal-Ann.
