DONIA, VIVIAN LEE, 84, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2026, at her home at Chisholm Place in Wichita, leaving behind a lifetime of quiet devotion, creativity, and love for family and the simple joys that made her happiest.

Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, Minter and Catherine; her husband of 46 years, Samuel J. Donia; and her sister, Carleen Gibbons. She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen (Ream) Stull and her fiancé, Jim Onder, and Deborah Donia and wife, Amanda, of Pittsburgh. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Amanda, married to Micah Tucker; Terri, married to Craig Ward; Alexis, Connor, and Tyler Peterson; Myles Samuel; Tayshawn and Layah Donia; Ashton and Brayden. Her great‑grandchildren include Essence, married to Andrew Illerbrun; Jalynne Tucker; Harper and Kinley Ward; and great-great‑granddaughter Sloane Illerbrun. She is further survived by her brother, Robert Miller, along with many extended family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Vivian was born on October 13, 1941, in Conemaugh Township, Pennsylvania, to Minter Morrell and Catherina Elizabeth {Blum} Miller. She was raised in the close-knit community where she attended school and graduated from Conemaugh Township School, carrying with her the values of hard work, humility, and kindness that would define her life.

Vivian spent many years working as a sewing operator at the Dorfman & Hoffman Factory, where her steady hands and patient nature were well suited to her craft. Outside of work, she found joy in creative pursuits that reflected her gentle spirit. She had a special love for ceramics and porcelain doll making, creating beautiful pieces that were as thoughtful and detailed as she was. She also enjoyed grooming dogs, a reflection of her deep affection for animals.

More than any hobby, Vivian's greatest happiness came from caring for her beloved dogs, Boozer and Samantha. They were her constant companions and brought her immeasurable comfort and joy. Her love for them was just one example of the nurturing heart she shared so freely.

Vivian was a faithful member of Laurel Trinity Lutheran Church in Jennerstown, where her quiet faith provided her strength and guidance throughout her life.

She will be remembered most for her gentle presence, her caring nature, and the love she gave so generously to those around her. Vivian found fulfillment not in grand gestures, but in the everyday acts of kindness and care that made a lasting difference in the lives of her family and friends.

Vivian's life was one of quiet beauty, marked by love, devotion, and a tender heart. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
