Todd William
Fisher
July 17, 1973 — November 8, 2023
Benton
Todd Fisher, born on July 17, 1973, left this world on November 8, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of resilience, kindness, and artistic passion. A graduate of Circle High School, Todd was not only a brilliant student but also the recipient of the Presidential Academic Award, a testament to his dedication to academic excellence.
After completing his education, Todd embarked on a journey that reflected his diverse interests. Starting his career at Wendy's, he later found joy working at Dunkin Doughnuts and Dillon's, where his love for baking cakes and pastries blossomed. This is also where he met Kenny Johnico who would later arrange for Todd to meet Lori. Todd also spent time working as a roofer and at an auto glass factory before a tragic accident involving a collision with a semi-truck altered the trajectory of his life. Despite enduring years of treatment and recovery, Todd faced persistent physical disabilities and chronic pain.
Undeterred, Todd confronted life's challenges with remarkable courage. His enduring spirit led him to build a life with his wife, Lori, whom he loved dearly. Their relationship was destined to be. Kenny, knowing he was looking for a relationship, determined to introduce him to Lori but, Todd avoided that meeting finding out who she was related to beforehand. As chance would have it they both went to Lori's Aunt's house where they met and it was love at first sight. Through this union came Brynn, Michael, and Matthew, their wonderful children. Todd's focus on what truly mattered in life, placing others before himself, defined his character. Known for his talents in writing poetry, love for music, and prowess in drawing, Todd found solace in creative pursuits.
In a heartfelt tribute to his late brother, Todd devoted countless hours to learning the guitar, creating a musical connection that transcended the bounds of time and space.
Todd is survived by his loving mother, Alice, and his father, Gregory, His children Brynn, Michael, and Matthew, as well as his sibling, Alice "Annabell" Buess. His memory is cherished by aunts and uncles Ann (Buess) Livingston, Charles Buess, Wayne Fisher, and James Carson. Todd was preceded in death by his brother, John Buess Wheeler, and aunts Zoe Bell (Buess) Hurst, Teressa Fisher, and his uncle, Michael Fisher and Glenn Fisher.
Todd's life serves as an inspiration to all who knew him, a testament to the strength of the human spirit in the face of adversity. May he rest in peace, leaving behind a legacy of resilience, love, and creativity that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to share in his journey.
