Todd M. Allison, age 49 , Wichita Attorney passed away on September 6, 2018. His memorial service will be held on Monday, September 10 at 10:30 a.m. at Christ Church 14242 E. 21 st St. in Wichita. He was preceded in death by his father, Ted M. Allison. He is survived by his wife, Kaylene, daughters: Makenzie (Nate Watson) and Makayla, sons: Mitchell and Marshall. Mother, Patricia Allison, brother Tony (Robin) Allison, sister, Tricia (Andrew) Vocasek. Parents-in-law, Dave and Marcelyn Bangle, sisters-in-law: Kristin (Dan) Wethington, Karin (Bob) Avery, thirteen nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.
T odd attended Dodge City schools graduating from high school in 1987. He participated in football and wrestling while in school. Todd attended Dodge City Community College and Kansas State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education in 1991. He attended Washburn University earning his Juris Doctorate Degree in 1994. Todd married Kaylene Bangle on July 25, 1992. Makenzie, Mitchell, Marshall, and Makayla added great joy to their family, and Todd was so proud of his family.
T odd worked at the Sedgwick County Court Trustee's Office and in law firms in the Wichita area before beginning his own firm –The Law Office of Todd Allison. He also proudly served his country as a Captain in the Army Jag Corp Reserves.
H e was passionate about outdoor activities. Mountain climbing, fishing, hunting and spending time at the farm were his favorites. Todd was an accomplished Alpinist even climbing Mt. Rainier. He loved watching football, whether that was Nebraska, K-State or his son's school teams. Todd made friends easily, and he never met a stranger. For example -- recently he experienced car trouble in a remote location. He ended up hitch hiking and being picked up, making a friend in the process. He was the life of every family gathering, and became the beloved uncle when he offered the nieces and nephews an "All You Can Eat S'more Buffet". Todd's favorite things to do were to spend time with his family including Boy Scouts with his sons. Todd will be dearly missed by all.
I n lieu of flowers memorial donations have been established with Boy Scout Troop #584 and Christ Church, 14242 E. 21st St. N., Wichita, KS 67230.Monday
