, retired Westar foreman, passed away on Tuesday, November 13,2018 in Andover. He was born on May 21, 1950 in St. Joe, MO to Charles L. and Shirley "Bird" Fleming. Terry married Karen Fales on January 4, 1974 at Faith Baptist Church in Andover.
Terry was an active resident of Andover since 1965 serving in early years as an Andover Volunteer Fireman, Fire Chief of Butler County, First Aid Instructor for the American Red Cross, was a member of the Andover City Council, a deacon in his church, and a 40 year employee of Westar Energy.
He was a sportsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and liked the Chiefs and the Royals.
Terry was preceded in death by his mother, father and 2 sons, Todd and Nick Fleming.
He is survived by his wife Karen; sons Newell Fleming and Terry Fleming(Kristi); sisters, Rhonda West, Debbie West, brother Larry Fleming(Kristi); grandchildren Mason Fleming , Aubree Fleming, Cory Fleming , Hannah Fleming, Madelyn Fleming, Trey Ficken, Amanda Ficken, and Jenna Ficken.
A memorial service will be held Saturday November 17, 11:00AM to 1:00PM at the residence 124 N. Thomas lane, Andover, KS. Online guest book may be signed at
