While Terry will be deeply missed, the memories he leaves behind will live on through the family and friends who shared so many laughs, adventures, and special moments with him.

Terry Gene Davis, 72, of Andover, Kansas, passed away on October 13, 2026, in Wichita, Kansas, just four days after celebrating his birthday.

Born on October 9, 1954, in Wellington, Kansas, Terry spent most of his life in Andover, where he raised his family and made countless memories with those closest to him. He spent many years working at ICS in Andover and Unilever in Wichita.

On September 6, 1975, Terry married the love of his life, Debra "Debbie" (Joy) Davis, in Andover, Kansas. Together, they built a life centered around family, laughter, and memories that will be cherished for generations.

Terry had a personality all his own and a kind and loving heart. He cared deeply for his family and enjoyed the simple things in life, especially when they involved the people he loved.

Family was always close, both in heart and in distance. Terry and Debbie raised their boys alongside siblings, cousins, and extended family, creating a lifetime of memories. From late-night wiffle ball games and pretending to be werewolves to mess with the kids, to countless weekends camping at the lake and competing to catch the biggest catfish, there was never a shortage of laughter, adventure, or stories to tell.

An avid softball player, Terry loved sports, especially watching his boys play. He was a loyal fan of the K-State Wildcats, St. Louis Cardinals, and Kansas City Chiefs. He also enjoyed a good trip to the casino.

Terry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Debbie; his parents, Jack Davis and Phyllis (Stamper) Davis; his brother, Gary A. Davis; and his sister, Patricia (Davis) Boor.

He is survived by his sons, Terry Davis (Janet) and Paul Davis (Heather), along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a come-and-go celebration of Terry's life on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Augusta Country Club. Lunch will be provided, and all are welcome to stop by, share their favorite stories and memories, and enjoy a few laughs as we remember Terry.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
