Tammie Jean Rhone was born feb 14th 1960 to a beautiful couple named Darkes Marie Knox and JW Rhone in Wichita ks at Wesley hospital. Ahe was the baby child of 4 children born to the beautiful family the two started together.
Preceding Tammie Rhone in Death are her mother and father and two sisters. (Darkes Marie Knox) (JW Rhone) , (Willma Jean Rhone) and (Verna Mae Rhone) . Tammie accepted Christ at a very young age , she was a faithful member of a church that was built from the ground up by her father JW, named Bethany Missionary Baptist Church ,under the leadership of Pastor Bennie H Byrd . She was baptized as a little girl there, she sung in the choir ,and her FAITH REMAINED STRONG and was a very important part of her whole life, until her very last breath.
Tammie went to Isley Elementary as a young beautiful kid then to Brooks Junior High then later to southeast and east high school then finishing in Denver Colorado. And at that time of her life she had her one and only joy her daughter ,Dekemiya she then finished school later on in California, graduating from Chaffey College in the city of Rancho Cugamonga with her associates for a director of arts where she worked in a psych facility. After she graduated she moved back home to Wichita as she went on to pursue her favorite job taking blood as a phlebotomist at the American Red Cross for over 15 years until she retired. She was able to do what she loved most which was traveling and meeting new people. She loved interior decorating, Forensics, rehab counseling,and simply being a good will to another human that's when you seen her at her happiness. She was later on blessed with 2 grandchildren Kimora and Kolvin Rhone that were her everything ,and she'll be leaving them here behind to reunite with everyone she missed the most.as she did Answering her Masters call on April 29th 2026 AS SHE ENTERED ETERNAL REST she will be missed deeply ,but her legacy of being the awesome grandmother ("yah-yah")Mom ,Auntie ,Sister and Friend,that she was ,it will continue with faith,love, kindness strength,and perseverance in the hearts of all her knew and loved her forever.
