Susan Ken Simmons 59 , went home to be with the Lord July 4, 2023 in El Dorado, Kansas. She was born to Kenneth and Eloise Hudson in Lewisburg Mississippi. After completing high school, she met Jerry they were married. They would end up moving to Florida where they bought a home and lived until a hurricane destroyed their home. This prompted a move to Graysville Tennessee where Susan began her career at Walmart. After 20 years she retired from Walmart. She really enjoyed spending time outdoors in God's creation especially the Appalachian mountain scenery. Susan was sure to spend lots of time shopping and cooking with Dakota. Their cooking resulted in some wonderful meals and sometimes a science experiment or two. She also enjoyed fishing especially when the crappie were biting. Susan was a strong southern woman who was a great cook. Everyone who met her fell in love with her bubbly personality, she loved to talk and made friends easily. Susan never met a stranger and would talk to anyone. Susan loved Misty with her whole heart even telling her that it was like she birthed her. They were very close Misty would always call her and ask for advise and sometimes just to hear her voice.

S usan was survived by her husband Jerry, her stepmom Betty Hudson, her daughter Misty "Danny" Odgen, Brother Joey "Angie" Griffon, Sisters Leah Spinelli and Karla & "Raney" Rives, Grandsons Dalton, Dayne, Dillon, Dage, and her Nephew Dakota Simmons.

S usan was proceeded by her Parents Kenneth and Eloise Hudson, Sister-in-law Debbie, son Jerry Lee, and grandson Logan. She will be greatly missed.
