Steve Schmersey, 66 , went home to be with Lord, January 31, 2024.  Born August 5, 1957 to W.W. and Doris Schmersey. As a young man, Steve founded his own business, Steve's Lawn Service which he continued to operate until 2023. Being a hard and dependable worker, he credited to his parents' example, especially his Dad.  He received much joy from travel, in the Caribbean, Hawaii, California and Florida.  For years he got pleasure from taking his children to Florida.  He was married to Brenda from 1992-2014 and they had 3 children: Austin, Devin, and Sydney.

He is survived by them and a sister, Diana Mitchell (Colorado)  Preceded in death by his parents and brother Brad.

He was very dedicated to his customers and appreciated them..  He praised the Lord in blessings and in adversity.  He received strength from the preaching of New Spring Church.
