SIGNER, STEPHEN "STEVE", 70 , of Piedmont, Kansas passed away Thursday morning, March 31, 2022 at his home. He was born September 9, 1951 in Greenwood County to Junior and Evelyn (Adler) Signer .

O n September 29, 1995 he married Sally (Cannon) Hodges, of Latham. Steve had 2 children from a previous marriage Shane Signer & Tami Vancil.

I n his younger years, Steve could always be found with his cousins Lyle, Dennis and Ted. Steve enjoyed coyote hunting, fishing and shooting guns. He also had a great fondness for country music classics. Steve worked many years at the Severy Service Station hauling gas and fixing tires. He then went to work for Sherwood Construction as a heavy equipment operator. Steve then went to work at Severy Co-op in the tire shop until his retirement.

S urvivors include wife Sally of the home; son Shane Signer(Denise) of Havana; daughter Tami Vancil(Steve) of Fall River; grandchildren Jeremy Vancil, Justin Vancil, Abigail Bohl, Logan Bohl(Shelby), Jade Vancil, Kayla Signer, Bradley Bohl, Madelyn Signer and Jaycee Vancil; two great granddaughters Kamryn and Brayden Bohl; sisters Patty Craig of Severy and Joette Darnell of Sedan.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Piedmont Community Center on Sunday April 24th at 2:00 p.m.
