Haynes, Seth Aaron, 46 , was born on June 29, 1976 in Hutchinson, KS. In July of 2021, Seth was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer and entered his eternal life on October 11, 2022.

A fter finishing school, he began working on the pipeline in the oil fields around the country as a heavy equipment operator. Seth met the love of his life, Kayla, through his best friend, her twin sister Erin whom he worked with the last five years. They started dating in 2020 and were married on June 11, 2022.

A nyone that knew Seth, knew that he was a one-of-a-kind individual, with a huge heart, and addictive personality. He loved to sing along to classic country music, oftentimes creating his own lyrics. He could fix anything, and loved watching KC Royals baseball, Oklahoma State and Chiefs Football. He also enjoyed smoking meat "all the time", along with a cold budweiser in hand. Seth loved to fish and would do it whenever he had the opportunity, also with a cold bud in hand.

S eth is survived by his wife Kayla of the home, Grandparents Kenneth and Patricia Robertson, Grandmother Laura; Mother Cyndy Smith, Aunt Karla Hobday, Sons Wade, Dallas, Hunter, and Jett; Daughter Whitney Haynes; brothers Steve Smith Jr, Eddie Jackson, Sam Smith, Joshua Haynes, and Josiah Smith; Sisters Shannon Beckman, Amanda Smith, Sarah Weatherburn, Syndy Smith and Hannah Smith; as well as many friends and coworkers. He is preceded in death by his father Douglas Haynes, Brother Jeremy Haynes and Grandfather Arlen.

H e will forever be in our hearts and missed by many.

A celebration of life will be held at First Baptist Church, 315 W Central Ave., Eldorado, KS on October 21, 2022 at 1:00pm.
