R uth was a very caring, loving lady who was a caregiver to friends and family.  She graduated from El Dorado High in 1962 and was the oldest of 3 children.  She worked as a hair dresser, school administrative assistant, and later as a real estate agent for Pebble Creek in Phoenix Arizona until she retired and moved back to El Dorado in 2003. Ruth enjoyed Bunko and watching football.

H er family includes 2 sons: Bradley Atha from Hutchinson and  Bryan Atha from El Dorado; 3 grandchildren, Meagan Atha from El Dorado, Logan Benson-Atha (Sierra Benson-Atha from Hutchinson), and Jayden Atha from Wichita. She has 4 great grandchildren; Brothers Ross Calhoon from Wichita and Ronnie Calhoon from El Dorado.

S he is Preceded in death by her parents and first husband Larry Atha.

T here will be viewing for family and friends on Tuesday, February 25th from 1-3pm at Heritage Funeral Home in El Dorado.
