Roy Glen Davis entered this world April 27, 1957, in El Dorado Kansas, to Marvin Leroy Davis & Phyllis Jean Burgess. Roy passed away at home December 8, 2023.
Roy grew up in the Towanda area, and as a young boy developed a passion for motorcycles & racing. He was a member of Jeep's Motorcycle Club for most of his life; partaking in many races with his vintage 250, or whichever bike he had built at that time. As a Jeep's member, Roy won several races and two state championships in the 1990's.
Roy worked in the oil fields his early life, then spent most of his remaining years working as an automotive mechanic and building custom bikes. Roy could fix most anything.
Roy married Linda J Henderson June 1980. They resided in the Augusta and Towanda areas until they settled in El Dorado in 1983.
Roy is survived by his wife Linda, daughter, Shanna Greene (David), son Troy Davis. Grandsons Mason Wakefield, Gavin Wakefield(Koryne), Logan Wakefield (Ashley), and Dylan Davis. Granddaughters Jayden Petersen, and Lillian Davis; as well as 17 great-grandchildren.
Roy was proceeded in death by his parents, sister Darla Jean Davis, Daughter, Alysha Davis, and grandson Trevor Greer (Wakefield).
Roy will always be remembered for his crazy sense of adventure, his infectious laugh, and love for his family.
