SINGLETERRY, RONNIE , 59, Navy Veteran, passed away on February 15, 2022 at his home with his family by his side. Ronnie was born on September 15, 1962 in Lubbock, Texas to Ramiro and Marie {Pulido} Singleterry. He grew up in Lansing, Michigan where he attended and graduated from high school. After high school Ronnie joined the Navy and served for 10 years. Most of Ronnie's time in the Navy was aboard Aircraft Carriers working as an Avionics Technician for F18's but he was also stationed in Iceland for a period of time. Ronnie was very proud to have served during Operation Desert Storm. Once his time in the Navy came to an end Ronnie went to work for Beechcraft and then Cessna where he spent 23 years. On December 23, 1992 he married Sharnelle Shannon in Jacksonville, Florida. Ronnie was a loving husband, father and devoted grandfather that loved his family and spending every moment he could with them. Drawing was a passion Ronnie explored and he was a very talented artist. When not with his family some of his time was spent playing shuffleboard and darts at VFW Post 3115 where he enjoyed the fellowship of his brother and sister veterans. Ronnie was a hard working, wise, selfless individual that would always put everybody else's needs ahead of his own.

R onnie is survived by his father Ramiro; children Kailee, Daniel, Carolyn, Gabrielle and Piper; grandchildren Cayden and Harper; siblings Jerry Singleterry(Lisa), Anthony "Tony" Singleterry and Jessica Garcia; in laws Wesley and Sherleen Shannon and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Marie and wife Sharnelle in 2015.

R osary will be held on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, 123 N. Andover Rd., Andover, KS with visitation from 5:20 p.m. until time of Rosary. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, February 21, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church with Father Ken VanHaverbeke presiding. Interment will follow at Bruno township Cemetery, Andover.
