Phillippe, Ronald Earl "Ron", passed away on February 7, 2021, at his home in Andover. Ron was born on December 20, 1931, in Choteau, Oklahoma, to Gerald and Edith (Weaver) Phillippe. When Ron was young the family moved to Kansas and Ron went to South Riverside Elementary School and graduated from Derby High School. After school he entered the Air Force. After his service he worked for Wichita Office Equipment and learned to repair typewriters, copiers and basic computers. While working there and doing work at Boeing, Boeing offered him a job for them working on typewriters and copiers. In 1957 Ron married (Lina) Corrinne Darbyshire after his sister, Eva, introduced them. Ron loved working with his hands and was a natural tinkerer and builder. He was very creative and crafted many wonderful models from scraps, bits and pieces, all without any blueprints. Ron was very active in church and was an Elder and Deacon; he attended Enterprise Christian, Haysville Christian, and most recently Ark Valley Christian. Always open and friendly, Ron had a smile for everyone and had a great laugh that he will be remembered for.

R on is survived by his children Mike Darbyshire (Jacque), Karen Darbyshire White (John), Bonnie Phillippe Hanson (Rick) and Brian Phillippe (Debby); sisters Betty Knapp and Coralee Andrews (Andy); 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Corrine; parents Gerald and Edith; 1 brother; 3 sisters and a grandson.
