Lewis, Roberta Ann, 83 , passed away in El Dorado on September 20, 2022.

R oberta Ann "Bobbye" Langford Lewis was born June 15, 1939 to parents Alyce Lee Langford and Robert Earl Langford in Independence, Missouri.

S he graduated from William Chrisman High School in Independence, Missouri in 1957.

S he met her husband of 61 years, George Lewis, Jr.,  at First National Bank of Kansas City, where they both worked. They had their first date in January of 1961 and were married 6 months later on June 9, 1961. They had two girls, Kellie Diane (Lewis) Ross and Karin Denise (Lewis) Coatney.

B obbye was a strong Christian woman and to know her was to know an angel on Earth.

B obbye's interests were spending as much time as possible with her daughters, sons-in-law, 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She enjoyed planning trips, traveling, reading, going to church, and listening to her husband prepare for his sermons for church on Sundays. She also loved doing puzzle books and watching cooking shows.

B obbye has left her husband, 2 daughters, Kellie Diane (Kenny) Ross and Karin Denise (Kent) Coatney, 6 grandchildren Vanessa (Treg), Alyssa, Rachelle, Ronni, Jesse, Natasha and 14 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert E, and Alyce L. Langford, brothers Virgil Owens and Don Owens, sister Shirley Jean Pointer and grandson Steven Paul Wehling II. Bobbye will be missed by many and she was truly an angel on Earth.
