SHEELEY, ROBERT ALVIN "ROBBY", 35 , Oil Field DerrickHand, passed away on December 26, 2022 at his home in El Dorado. Robby was born on December 13, 1987 in Fort Scott, Kansas to Richard Smith and Patty Sheeley soon after chose his dad Jole Shadden who also chose him as a son. Growing up and moving around some Robby attended school in Fort Scott, KS, Commerce, OK, and Joplin, MO. He spent his senior year in El Dorado, KS and graduated from El Dorado High School. After High School Robby found his love on the drilling rigs working for C&G Drilling, Gulick Drilling, Phillips Well Service and later back to C&G where he was currently working as a Derrickhand. He was proud of the time he spent rigging and the family he gained from there and wore the title of "Roughneck" and "Oilfield Trash" proudly. He was hard working and the best floor hand and teammate on the rigs. Robby loved hanging with his friends and nephews. His hobbies included spending time with friends and loved ones that he felt he could just kick back and be himself, shooting, and playing hacky sack. He loved tinkering and was always working on something with his hands and was a collector of all things, especially knives and friends. He was not materialistic but if he saw something that peaked his interest he added it to his collection and if he liked you as a person he added you to his friends circle. Although it was a close circle once he invited you in you knew you had met a real friend. Anybody that met Robby would easily describe him as dependable, loving, loyal, kind, trustworthy and the person with the biggest heart you've ever met.
