Randall Ervin Patterson was born March 22, 1954 in El Dorado, Kansas to Alvin and Mildred "Peggy" (Gates) Patterson. He was united in marriage to Carol S. (Miller) Patterson on May 27, 1978. Randy's greatest joy was his family: sons Phillip (Cereasa) Patterson, Timothy Patterson andJonathan Patterson; grandchildren Heidi Patterson, Michael Smithwick and Jace Killgore; sibling Cheryl (Tim) Van Brogen of Colfax, Iowa; sister-in-law Debra Miller; and niece Jennifer (Joshua) Duff.

R andy went to be with his Lord on December 21, 2020 at Wheatstate Manor in Whitewater, Kansas.

H e is preceded in death by his parents and nephew Joshua Castro.
