Phyllis Elaine Tholen, 73 , passed away peacefully on June 8, 2023, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas with loved ones by her side. Phyllis was born in Grinnell, Kansas on November 15, 1949, to Louis and Mary Tholen.
Phyllis grew up in Grinnell and Wichita, KS. She made Wichita her home for many years before moving to Arkansas to be near her grandchildren. She was a seamstress, a homemaker, and a public-school volunteer. She was a very generous person and was most happy when she was helping others.

Phyllis is survived by her daughters, Audrey and Renay, granddaughters Maryssa, Kyia, and Serena, great-grandson Koda, sisters Cathy and Rosie, brother Joe, niece and adopted daughter Tina, nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren. She is proceeded in death by her grandparents, parents, bother Danny, and sister Nadine.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Grinnell, KS.
