Wharton, Patrick Manuel "Pat", 69, Navy Veteran and Engineer, passed away on April 24, 2019 at his home surrounded by his friends. Pat was born on February 26, 1950 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Joseph and Mildred "Clegg" Wharton. Pat enjoyed making sterling silver jewelry and collecting old coins; he had new hobbies regularly. He loved gardening and had a very green thumb; enjoying spending time in his backyard while gardening being around his pond and Koi fish. As an electrical engineer, Pat was a very smart and wise man. He worked as a Navy Radar Technician, spending time on River Patrol Boats, and with the Department of Defense. Pat was a member of the NRA and had a loving, big heart. He would routinely take people in and care for them.

P at is survived by his children Andrew Wharton, Jeremy Wharton(Allison), Nick Wharton, Caleb Alexander(Elizabeth) and Aaron Alexander; siblings Sallie Clark(Edward) and Michael Wharton(Kaycee); 5 grandchildren Easton Wharton, Russell Wharton, Kaitlyn Wharton, Issiac Wharton, Madison Wharton and Candice Brynds; and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Mildred; brothers Don and Dennis; sisters Joanne and Susie and cousin Joe.
