WALTON, PATRICIA L., 87 , a spirited and no-nonsense woman, passed away on November 26, 2023, at Residence Begonia in Wichita. She was born on February 5, 1936, in Erie, Pennsylvania, and leaves behind a legacy of love, honesty, and a zest for life.

Patricia was a force to be reckoned with, known for her feisty personality and unwavering honesty. She dedicated a significant part of her life to working as the head cocktail waitress at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, where she not only excelled at her job but also formed lasting bonds with her coworkers. Her love for people extended to the celebrities she encountered, making her a cherished member of the MGM Grand family.

Born to be a mother, Patricia raised five children: Mary Ellen, Teri, Tina, Gino, and John. As the years passed and grandchildren came into her life, Patricia and her family found their home in Cherry Valley, CA, before eventually settling in Kingman, Kansas. There, she devoted herself to the care and upbringing of her grandchildren, Ashley & Gino creating a warm and loving home for the generations that followed.

Patricia's indomitable spirit was matched by her passion for crossword puzzles, reading the STAR magazine, and indulging in her favorite soap operas and Judge Judy on television. Her sharp wit and love for lively conversation endeared her to friends and family alike.

She is survived by her children Mary Ellen, Teri, and John; grandchildren Gina, Ashley, and Gino; and numerous other family and friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared. Patricia was preceded in death by her two children Tina, Gino, &  beloved husband John, with whom she shared a lifetime of joys and challenges.

In celebrating Patricia's life, let us remember her as the candid, vibrant, and loving woman she was—a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the everlasting love she gave so freely during her time on this earth.
