Okema Louise Fowler, 75, passed away at her residence in El Dorado on August 6, 2022.

Okema was born to Myron Boone and Mardell (Williams) Boone in Eureka, KS on May 28, 1947. She went to school in Climax, Missouri but graduated from high school at Buestem High School in Leon, KS. She took a year of business college in Topeka before eventually becoming the financial secretary at El Dorado Middle Shool, where she retired after 17 years. Okema loved her family and attended her grandkids' events, including concerts, etc. Additionally, she loved golf.
