Norman Dale Webster, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and soon-to-be great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2023 at Westley Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. He was born on April 10, 1945 in Hallowell, Kansas, to his proud parents, Earnest and Fern "Allen" Webster. Norman's life was marked by a deep love for his family, a passion for sports, and a dedication to hard work.

Norman's childhood was shaped by his early move to Oswego, Kansas, and later to Wichita during his middle school years. It was during this time that he began working alongside his father, installing insulation. This early experience instilled in him a strong work ethic that would carry him through his entire life.

In 1989, Norman married the love of his life, Melissa Seelig, and together, they embarked on a journey that led them to Des Moines, Iowa, where he worked as a freight manager for Freeman Decorating. This career took him all across the country, allowing him to explore new places and meet people from all walks of life.

In 2008, Norman and Melissa moved back to Kansas to care for his beloved mother, a testament to his unwavering dedication to family. In 2019, they settled in El Dorado, where they embraced a peaceful and fulfilling life together.

Norman had a zest for life that was infectious. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family, taking his daughters and grandchildren to the zoo, the lake, and being the best grandpa anyone could ask for. He was especially excitedly awaiting the arrival of his first great-grandchild.

Norman had a few passions that defined him. He had a love for golf, often sharing rounds with his brother-in-law, and he was an avid fan of Chiefs football and college basketball, with a special place in his heart for the KU Jayhawks.

Norman is survived by his devoted wife, Melissa; his daughters, Jeanette Nichols (Jermey) and their children, Dakota and Indigo; and Mary Webster and her children, Nell, Jeremiah (Bubba), and Macelyn(Macy). He is also survived by his sister, Sue Johnson; many nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members and friends who cherished his presence in their lives.

Norman was proceeded in death by his parents, Ernest and Fern; his beloved "Grannybear"; his aunt, Mary; Uncle Dale, and cousin Jimmy. While he may have left this world, his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Norman Dale Webster's life was a testament to the importance of family, hard work, and cherishing the moments spent with loved ones. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
