Yates, Nancy Mae, 75, passed away in her home in Augusta, Kansas on October 13, 2020, in the presence of family that loved and adored her.

N ancy was born in Wichita on July 13, 1945 to Earl and Aletha Madson. Nancy grew up in Wichita and graduated from East High School. Nancy's friends and family remember her being a compassionate, kind, and loving person Nancy loved the Lord, life, gardening and people, and had a gift for making everyone feel special.

H er celebration of life will take place during a graveside service at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 1806 N. Oliver, Wichita, KS 67208 at 2:00 PM, Friday, Oct. 23.

N ancy leaves behind the love of her life and best friend, Joseph Yates; her two children John Yates and Kathy Harris; a son-in-law Robert Harris; 8 grandchildren: Brittany Yates, Brandon (Hannah) Yates, Heidi (Jon) Robey, Jason Holmes, Madison (Brody) Alexander, Levi Harris, Jonathan Harris and Jeremy Harris; 3 great grandchildren: Sadie Robey, Greyson Alexander and Maverick Alexander, and arriving in March, Harper Mae Alexander.

V iewing is Thursday, October 22, 2020 at Heritage Funeral Home, 206 E. Central, El Dorado from 5 until 7.
