Wilson, Nancy Jane, age 82 of El Dorado, KS entered Heaven's Gates on Sunday, May 27, 2018. She was born to the late Ellis and Marie Middleton on Dec. 12, 1935.

N ancy attended El Dorado High School, graduating in 1953. She attended St. Joseph Nursing School in Wichita, KS graduating in 1976. After graduation, she worked as an R.N. at Susan B. Allen Hospital in El Dorado for 17 years. Family was Nancy's passion and delight. She loved singing in the choir at church and being a member of First Baptist. She had a close group of friends that met for coffee and bible study weekly. Nancy was a remarkable cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family. Everyone loved her pies and how flaky her crusts were. She loved watching cooking channels, reading and sitting outside during her spare time.

N ancy is survived by her husband of 37 years, Alvin Dean Wilson, brother Gene Middleton (Ruby), three children Nanette J. DeHaven (Gary), Jeffrey R. Martin (Cheryl) and Jennifer L. Colling (Thad) and stepdaughter Stacy Wilson. She is survived by six grandchildren: Justin L. Jones, Justin L. Colling, Noah D. McLaughlin, Lyndsey D. Korkki, Jeffrey L. Jones, Daryan M. Houle; and 8 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her great grandchild Tristin Robert Lee McLaughlin and stepson Thad Wilson.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 30 ^th , 2018 at 10:00 AM at Sunset Lawns Cemetery, 2100 Sunset Rd., El Dorado, KS. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and/or the Arthritis Foundation.
