Asborn, Nancy Lue, 90, was born in Norfolk, Nebraska on May 17, 1928. She was one of 9 children and is survived by two sisters, Shirley McNickle (of Stafford, KS) and Jeanene Buchanan (of Grove, OK).
N ancy was married to W.W. (Mike) McDonald, John R. Cox and Ralph T. Asborn. She is mother to, and survived by, daughters Carolyn Drummond-Hay (of Cuernavaca, Mexico) and Nancy Loates-Taylor (of Dorking, England). She is also grandmother to Samantha Drummond-Hay (of Oxford, England), Seth O'Connor (of Santa Clara, CA) and Elizabeth Loates-Taylor (of Bristol, England) and great grandmother to Jack and Saskia Kovandzich (both of Oxford, England).
N ancy was a long-term resident of Wichita. Her working life included local oil companies and Valley Hope Treatment in their Wichita office. This was a particularly happy time in her working life as she felt that her front office presence could be both informative and supportive to their clientele.

ollowing her retirement from work Nancy cared for her nephew, John B Miller, as he faced the tragic Huntington's disease. She later moved to Joplin, Mo and Grove, OK, returning to Wichita in 2017. She was a resident of Homestead at Crestview until her death on June 11, 2018.

emorial Services for Nancy will be Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, 8021 W. 21st St.,Wichita Kansas.
