Asborn, Nancy Lue, 90, was born in Norfolk, Nebraska on May 17, 1928. She was one of 9 children and is survived by two sisters, Shirley McNickle (of Stafford, KS) and Jeanene Buchanan (of Grove, OK).

N ancy was married to W.W. (Mike) McDonald, John R. Cox and Ralph T. Asborn.  She is mother to, and survived by, daughters Carolyn Drummond-Hay (of Cuernavaca, Mexico) and Nancy Loates-Taylor (of Dorking, England). She is also grandmother to Samantha Drummond-Hay (of Oxford, England), Seth O'Connor (of Santa Clara, CA) and Elizabeth Loates-Taylor (of Bristol, England) and great grandmother to Jack and Saskia Kovandzich (both of Oxford, England).

N ancy was a long-term resident of Wichita. Her working life included local oil companies and Valley Hope Treatment in their Wichita office. This was a particularly happy time in her working life as she felt that her front office presence could be both informative and supportive to their clientele.

F ollowing her retirement from work Nancy cared for her nephew, John B Miller, as he faced the tragic Huntington's disease.  She later moved to Joplin, Mo and Grove, OK, returning to Wichita in 2017.  She was a resident of Homestead at Crestview until her death on June 11, 2018.

M emorial Services for Nancy will be Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, 8021 W. 21st St.,Wichita Kansas.
