Michael Lee Snapp , born on December 6, 1945, in Wichita, Kansas, passed away peacefully at his home on November 3, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved son of Dale and Evelyn Snapp and grew up in the Wichita area, graduating from East High School.

After high school, Michael answered the call to serve his country, joining the United States Air Force and serving faithfully. Following his military career, he met the love of his life, Vicky, and they were soon married, beginning a beautiful life together. The couple was blessed with a daughter, Sonya, who brought endless joy to his life.

Michael began his career in the printing industry, where he took immense pride in his craft, eventually starting his own print shop. He worked tirelessly until retirement, but his restless spirit led him to start a new chapter at AutoZone, where he continued working with dedication.

Known for his kindness and community spirit, Michael was an active presence in Wichita. He spent many years coaching Little League and umpiring, sharing his love for sports with young athletes. In his spare time, he enjoyed working with his hands, whether through woodworking or wrenching on cars. Above all, he treasured time with his family, often embarking on camping and fishing trips that created precious memories.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Evelyn Snapp, and his brothers, Gary, Larry, and Kenny. He is survived by his loving wife, Vicky; his cherished daughter, Sonya; his son, Chris; his brother, Wayne; his sisters, Bonita, Patty, Cheri, and Kathy; and his grandson, Colton, who brought him immense pride and joy.

Michael's kindness and love will be missed by many. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
