Michael Lee Sederis, age 64 , set sail for his final voyage on Monday, August 16, 2021 at 10:32pm.  He will be the captain of his own pirate ship in the skies of Heaven from now on.  Michael was born on May 15, 1957 in Midwest City, Oklahoma.  He was raised in Point Pleasant, New Jersey where he graduated high school in 1975.  I think he knew his heart was in Oklahoma.  It was in Del City, Oklahoma where he found the love of his life, Penny.  They were married shortly after meeting on November 14, 1981.  She was his queen from the moment they met.  Their love is a love very few ever get to experience and they were blessed to have almost 40 years together on this earth.  Together, they had three daughters, who were the light of their daddy's life.  Anyone who knew Michael, knew that in his eyes, his daughters could do no wrong…then came his grandkids, and they were by far the most important three in the world.  He was the most fun and loving Papa anyone could ask for.

M ichael was always willing to help anyone.  He needed to be needed.  If he wasn't making meals for his family (yes, all 3 meals, 365 days a year), he was always fixing something.  He didn't know how to just be still.  He was always the first one to volunteer if someone needed help with anything.  He couldn't spell very well, but he could build you a skyscraper from the ground up, just give him a little duct tape and sheetrock.

M ichael is survived by his wife of 39 years, Penny Sederis.  Daughters, Rush Sederis-Clark and husband Red Clark, Myka Sederis (greenbean), and Hannah Sederis.  Grandchildren, Zac Clark, Zachary Sederis, and Harlee Sederis-Clark and countless other family members and friends.

M ichael is preceded in death by his parents, John and Joyce Sederis, and siblings John Sederis Jr. and Karen Hayes.
