Melissa Lynn
"Missy" Lumley
March 16, 1969 — May 22, 2020
Rose Hill
LUMLEY, MELISSA LYNN "Missy", 51 , LPN and lifelong San Diego Chargers fan, passed away on May 22, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. Missy was born on March 16, 1969 in Poway, California to Ronald Lee Sporl and Marilyn Lunde. Ronald and Marilyn divorced and he later remarried Jean Adamson-Sporl. Missy grew up in the San Diego area and then moved on to Salt Lake. She loved the lake, boating, riding her horses and generally being outdoors. She worked on many pieces of beadwork and necklaces and was very family oriented; being described as the best sister ever. She was very giving and caring; which showed through her nursing career; and was always there to help anybody that needed it, even if she didn't necessarily like you.
Missy is survived by her children Tiffanie Jayne Beckwith, Peter Edward Chris, Zach Cronk and Joshua Lunde along with many other family and friends. The family would like to thank Brian Adamson for all the help he has given and being the best brother and friend he could be and secondly Troy Pennington for everything he has done towards the end of Missy's life. He was a fantastic friend and confidant and Missy could always turn to him no matter what the situation was and the family would not have gotten through this without him.
Memorial gathering will be held on Friday, May 29, 2020 at Ray's house, 17632 SW Indianola Rd, Rose Hill, KS.
