LACHNIET, MAUREEN KAY, 81 , passed away at her home surrounded by family on November 13, 2019. Maureen was born on September 18, 1938 in Lowell, MI to William and Blanche (Wood) Delaney. On June 22, 1957 she married Roger Lachniet. Maureen was a prayer warrior that faithfully read her Bible and ministered to many through her letters and cards. She will be remembered most for her faith and her all-embracing love for her family.

M aureen is survived by her husband Roger; their nine children, Mark Lachniet(Jan), Lori Curtis(Rocky), Beth Reese(Bob), Brent Lachniet(Brenda), Machel Allen(Tim), Todd Lachniet, Darci Lemmon(Darren), Gina Wohlford(John) and Kalee Olmstead(Adam); sisters Rosemary Horton and Colleen Lovett; 29 grandchildren and14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Blanche Delaney; sisters Ardis Lewis, Doris Mitchell and brother Merwin VanWormer.

S ervices will be Saturday, November 30 at 10:00 a.m. at Crosswinds Community Church, Derby, KS. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Maureen's memory to The Gideons (International Processing Center, P.O. Box 97251, Washington, DC 20090-7251) or to Victory in the Valley, ( a cancer support program - 3755 E Douglas Ave, Wichita, KS 67210) .
