ANDOVER

PALMER, MARY ANN, 77 , passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on October 21, 1940 in Dodge City, KS to C.S. and Clara Somerville. Mary Ann attended Copeland Schools and Southwestern College where she met her husband of 58 years, Robert.

M ary Ann is survived by her husband Robert; sister Patricia Standiford (Larry); daughter Pam Palmer; son Greg Palmer (Paula); grandchildren Brandi Heinrich (Tony Blevins), Brittani Heinrich, Bayli Palmer, and great grandchild Booker Blevins.

M ary Ann made her career working at Employers Mutual Company, retiring in 1998. Her family will miss her fabulous and feisty attitude, which served her well as she overcame both breast and ovarian cancers. Mary Ann also loved to spend time in her kitchen cooking for her family and playing bridge with her beloved girlfriends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Andover United Methodist Church, 1429 N. Andover Rd., Andover with fellowship to follow.
