SNOWBARGER, MARY LENATTE "NET", 80 , went to be with her Lord on October 5, 2021. Net was born on February 13, 1941 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Bennie W., Sr. and Barbara Lou (Tucker) Hayes. She attended school in Whitehall, Arkansas and became a Christian at a very young age. All through school Net played music and especially loved playing for her church. She loved music and had a gift for playing the piano; and played completely by ear. After finishing high school she attended Bethany Nazarene College in Bethany, OK where she met the love of her life, Merlin Ray Snowbarger, and earned her Mrs. degree when they married on January 23, 1965. Net had many skills that led her to work as a receptionist at a Dr. clinic, a bank teller and a dental assistant before finding her true calling and her passion for floral design. She quickly began helping with wedding planning in their church, decorating homes and businesses for Christmas, decorating the Church and anything she could do to make the world a more beautiful place. She was a member of the KS State Florists Assoc. and the KS Assoc. of Floral Arts and competed in and won many design competitions. Net collected Nativity Scenes and loved reading, sewing and especially quilting; making quilts for all of her family and clothes for everyone's dolls. She also had many four legged family members throughout the years that brought her much joy. With her musical background Net and Merlin sang in their church choir and a church quartet in the Nazarene church in Watonga and Hutchinson. Net was always very active in church and her love for Jesus was her very first priority. She was loving and kind and always saw the good in everyone. She was a mentor to many and was a vibrant, magnetic person that you always wanted to be around. As an amazing wife, mom, sister, grammy, aunt and friend Net's trademark word was JOY and she spread that word throughout every relationship and interaction she had with people.

Net is survived by her husband Merlin; children Russell Snowbarger(Susan) and Barry Snowbarger; siblings Bennie Hayes, Jr.(Marie) and Jenny Morgan; grandchildren Elijah Snowbarger, Jeremia Snowbarger, Kiason Snowbarger, Raye Snowbarger and Abbie Snowbarger and many loving nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Bennie and Barbara; and siblings Lottie Tryon and John Hayes.
