CRISP, MARY, passed away on May 23, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. Mary was born on December 11, 1939 in Emporia to Justin John and Mary Agnes "Baker" Groundwater. Mary grew up in the Saffordville area and married Lawrence Eugene "Gene" Crisp on April 15, 1962. Mary and Gene moved out to California where Gene owned and insurance agency. In the mid 80's they moved back to Kansas as they didn't want to raise their children in California. Mary loved music, gardening and tending to her flowers but her greatest passion was her family.

Mary is survived by her husband Lawrence "Gene"; her children Kenneth Eugene "Kenny" Crisp, Kirk Crisp(Mindi Cook) and Kathy Marie Crisp-Watkins(Aron); siblings Juanita Comp, Muriel Lantow and Richard Schaefer; grandson Corbin Watkins; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Justin Groundwater; mother Mary and step-father Daddy Fred Schaefer.

Private family memorial will be held.
