Martha Nell Whisenhunt (nee Sill) , 83, of El Dorado, passed away on Nov 15, 2022. She was born in Joplin, MO, the youngest of 4 children, on February 28, 1939, to Robert L. Sill & Dorothy N. Sill (nee Putman). She was married to Gary Wilson in 1960, and they had two children, Jeff & Stephanie. She remarried in 1975 to James Whisenhunt until his death in 2001. The last 20 years of her life were spent with her true love, Leon Bean.

Having worked as a nurses aid, Marty was a caring, nurturing person gladly helping people in need. She was a wonderful mother & grandmother who lived for her family.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, an infant sister Frankie Louise, brother Robert Sill, and sister Barbara Gourley.

She is survived by her loving partner, Leon Bean of El Dorado, KS; her son, Jeff Wilson of Hampstead, NC; daughter Stephanie Renfro (Kevin) of Norman, OK; 3 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; brother Clifford Sill of Georgetown, TX, & a host of extended family.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m., December 10, 2022, at Heritage Funeral Home, 206 E. Central, El Dorado, KS.
