FISCUS, MARILYN JOANNE, 86, was born on August 27, 1939 in Larned, KS and passed away in Andover, KS on January 30, 2026, at the age of 86. Marilyn lived to be aprox, 2,727,415,200 seconds old. She lived a life filled with love, creativity, generosity, and unwavering dedication to the people around
her.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband Paul Fiscus; her sons Mahlon "Lonnie" Helt and Glen "Skipper" Helt; her daughters Lynette Tuttle and Reneigh Helt; her two faithful dogs, Daisy and Dexter, along with many more pets she loved throughout her life. She is survived by her son Michael James Helt; her 6 grandchildren, Stephanie Rich‑Helt, Crysta Tuttle, Lonnie Morris, Preston Morris, and Amy Jo Hutson , Jessica Black; along with 12 great‑grandchildren and eight great‑great‑grandchildren, each one carrying forward a piece of her legacy.

Marilyn was well known and deeply loved for the quilts and blankets she made for her family. Sewing was more than a hobby to her Marilyn Joanne Fiscus was born August 27, 1939 in Larned Ks passed away in Andover Ks. — it was her way of giving warmth, comfort, and a lasting reminder of her love. Nearly every family member has a piece of her handiwork, stitched with care and meant to be treasured for generations.

She also shared a love of adventure with her late husband Paul. Together, they enjoyed riding Harley‑Davidson motorcycles, embracing the freedom of the open road and creating memories that her family still cherishes.

Professionally, Marilyn was proud of her work as a parts inspector for Boeing and Cessna Aircraft in Wichita, Kansas. Her steady hands, sharp eye, and meticulous attention to detail earned her great respect in the aviation community. One of the highlights of her career was contributing to work on Air Force One, something she carried great pride in throughout her life.

Marilyn had a generous heart and a natural way of caring for the people in her life. She was the kind of friend who showed up, who helped when she could, and who shared what she had without hesitation. Her kindness extended far beyond her family, touching many who were fortunate enough to know her.

She will be remembered for her strength, her creativity, her generosity, and the love she poured into every stitch, every ride,
every friendship, and every moment with her family. Her legacy lives on in the stories shared, the blankets treasured, and the generations she helped shape.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
