DAILEY, MARGO LYN, 71 , passed away peacefully at her home on March 19, 2025, with her beloved James Ivy by her side. Born on January 25, 1954, in Arkansas City, KS, to Marvin and Muriel {Johnson} Turner, Margo grew up  Newkirk, OK, where she graduated in 1972.

A woman of resilience and dedication, Margo built a career working for the Rodeo Meat Co. until its closure, then as a field chemist for Coastal Refinery until it, too, shut down. Undeterred, she spent a short time at Orscheln's before finding her place at Canal Pipeline, where she continued her work as a field chemist and retired after more than 20 years of service.
Margo's passions extended far beyond her career. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life—tending to her beautiful garden, caring for her flowers, and watching the birds, especially those that made their homes in her cherished Starling houses. She also had an appreciation for the artistry of stamp collecting. However, in the past decade, Margo found an unexpected and deep love for gaming, immersing herself in the world of World of Warcraft and forming connections that spanned far beyond the screen.

Those who knew Margo will remember her as fun-loving, spirited, and a little ornery in the most delightful way. She never met a stranger—her kindness and warmth ensured that every conversation felt like home. Whether she was laughing with friends, sharing stories, or simply making those around her feel welcome, Margo had a way of leaving an unforgettable mark on everyone she met.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories, survived by her life partner and love, James Ivy; her sons, Matthew and Mason Dailey; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her brother, Mark Turner; and many other family members and friends who will forever hold her close in their hearts. Margo is now reunited with those who went before her, including her parents and her dear sister, Mitzi Rowan.

Margo's presence in this world was a gift, and though she may no longer walk among us, her laughter, kindness, and adventurous spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Rest easy, Margo, in a world as vast and wondrous as the ones you explored. You will be deeply missed.
