SKINKIS, LINUS PAUL "LONNIE", 69 , Engineer, passed away on July 31, 2017 at Kansas Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was born on April 27, 1948 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Joseph and Alice Skinkis. Lonnie married Linda Ford on April 16, 1980 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Lonnie loved hunting and fishing, gardening and working in his garage. He was a member of the VFW and was quite a character who enjoyed giving people a hard time and making them laugh. He was an avid gun collector but his passion was spending time with his family.

L onnie is survived by his wife Linda; children Stephanie Hughes, Heather Skinkis, Amanda Stoeber, Jay Maxwell and Mark Maxwell; grandchildren Jesse, Jaxon, Quinton, Blake and Tyler; his cats Sabrina and Daisy and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Alice and his brother Ralph.

R eosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, 123 N. Andover Rd., Andover, KS. Memorial mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 9, 2017, also at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church.
