Linda Gale Easley was born in Pawhuska, Oklahoma on September 8, 1953. She was the daughter of Mickey (Clarence) Easley and Delia Pearsall Easley. She was the third of five children. She has three children: daughter Heather Sparrow, and her husband Toriano, of Marietta, Ga; son Nathan Frazier of Rose Hill, KS; son Mickey Frazier, and his wife Janine, also of Rose Hill, KS. She has six grandchildren Donnell, Tariana (Mariah), Sierra, Skyla, Ashley, and Gage. Let's not forget all her grand animals. Needless to say she's proud of them all. Additional survivors include: a brother, Stephen Easley, and his wife, Debra; and sister Janice Easley both of Pawhuska, OK. Preceded in her death were her parents Delia "Dee" Lorene (Pearsall) Easley-Rogers and Clarence "Mickey" Easley, Jr and her siblings; brother Monte Easley and sister Connie Rencountre.
S he went to Pawhuska High School and graduated in 1971. She was a proud member of the Osage Nation's Eagle Clan. She loved attending the In-Lon-Schka dances in June. Her Osage name was ENA-OPP-EE.
U pon graduation she went to nursing school in Tulsa, Oklahoma and worked as a CNA/LPN at Hillcrest Medical Center on the surgical floor.
T hroughout her life she was a Girl Scout, Boy Scout and 4-H Leader. She was very involved in her three children's school activities for all 13 years. She enjoyed working with her children at church activities and working on the Ten Commandments. She also enjoyed serving, designing, upholstering, knitting, crocheting, and landscaping. Linda was very proud of her accomplishments. A certified Design Consultant with Associates in interior design and graduating later in life from Southwestern College with a double bachelor degree in Human Resources, and Quality Control Management.
I n the 7th grade she entered an art contest drawing Abraham Lincoln and won a four year Art Scholarship. While in the eighth grade she was selected as a 4-H club queen in Russell, Kansas. Linda had many hobbies and never found anything boring. As an infant she began riding horses and continued entering in shows and rodeos winning many ribbons and awards. In 1971 she received a special honor as the 25th annual Rodeo Queen for the World's largest Amateur Rodeo. At that time she hosted 110 clubs that were entered in the annual rodeo.
S he was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Andover Area. She has been a long time residnt of the Andover area and considered it a great place to raise a family. She passed away on November 3, 2019 and will be buried in the Andover Cemetery in Andover, Kansas.
