HUFFMAN, LELAND LEONARD, 92, Army Veteran and General Electric Employee, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital. He was born on January 14, 1926 in Hewins, KS to Charles and Emma "Akin" Huffman. Leland was a "Tough Old Bird" who loved to fish and spend time on his Volkswagens. He really enjoyed his trips to Alaska to spend time fishing with his son. He liked to dance and his favorite music was Jimmie Rogers. Leland faithfully attended church and enjoyed his time on the farm in Caney.
L eland is survived by his daughters Connie Webb and Sharon Wilson; son Leonard Huffman; his niece and caretaker Deborah Hamersky; many other nieces, nephews, other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Emma and his six siblings Lucille Kunkle, Thelma Bell, Curtis Huffman, Lewis Huffman and Willard Huffman.
