Larry's formative years were spent in Wichita, where he attended Wichita East High School. Larry's ability in bowling allowed him to receive an assortment of trophies and awards. Post-graduation, he pursued further education and training, setting the stage for a career that would be defined by technological prowess. Joining Southwestern Bell, Larry honed his skills in setting up mainframe communication networks, a talent that would prove invaluable in the years to come.

Upon completing his time in the Army, Larry returned to civilian life and resumed his career with the phone company. He dedicated many years of hard work, contributing to the ever-evolving world of communication technology.
