BROWN, LARRY ALLAN, 73 , received his angel wings Sunday December 22, 2019. He passed away in the comfort of his home surrounded by family. Larry was born on February 16, 1946 in Topeka, Kansas to Lawrence and Wilma Brown. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and served two tours in Vietnam during his service. He loved coaching and watching his children play sports. He was an avid sports fans attending KU Basketball games while living in Lawrence. In 1995 he moved to the El Dorado, Kansas area and married his wife Rhonda on February 1, 1996. He continued to watch his children play sports until they graduated. Larry was not much of a fisherman but enjoyed spending time with his children during fishing trips.

L arry is survived by his loving wife Rhonda; children Christopher Barley (Kristie), Gregory Barley (Jessica), Matthew Barley (Yuliya), Paul Brown, Phillip Brown (Rosemary), Patrick Brown (Connie), Penny Kellum (Dave) and Michaela Pratt; siblings Rick Brown (Hazel); 17 grandchildren with one on the way; 1 great grandchild and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Wilma; sister Patty and niece Taleesha.

C elebration of life will be held at the First Baptist Church on 11th street in Towanda, Kansas at 1 PM on Saturday January 4, 2020.
