Fleming, Kristi Diane, 61 , passed away on March 23, 2021 at Harry Hynes Hospice in Wichita. Kristi was born on November 30, 1959 in Wichita to Ernest and Diane "Hall" Johnson. The family moved to Andover where Kristi attended school, met the love of her life Charles "Larry" Fleming, and graduated from Andover High School in 1977. Growing up Kristi worked for Gary's Market in Andover. Kristi attended Butler County Community College and on October 27, 1979 her and Larry were wed. After 35 years working with McRae and Associates, Kristi found her passion and calling working with kids at Andover eCademy. Cross-stitching was a wonderful hobby that allowed Kristi to make her children, grandchildren and friends many lovely, heartfelt gifts throughout the years. You could always find Kristi reading a book and she was a predominant member of two book clubs; the Lit-Chix and Friendship Sisters, which she started. Kristi was a very outgoing and social person and was everybody's friend with her "bubbly" personality. She was supportive and caring, always putting other people's needs first above her own. Lake time and family vacations to Lake City, Colorado were Kristi's favorite times as she got to spend time with the family she loved and her pride and joys that were her grandchildren. And who can forget the seasonal family traditions that she held so dear. Kristi was happy and full of life, often bursting out in song, even if it wasn't the right words, and will be remembered for her infectious smile.

K risti was preceded in death by her parents, Ernie and Diane Johnson and both maternal and paternal grandparents. Kristi is survived by her loving husband Charles "Larry" Fleming; children Annie Kate Schartz(Sam) and Brock Lawrence Fleming(Rebecca); siblings Julie Cohen(Jeff), Joel Johnson(Gretchen) and Carrie Buffington; grandchildren Addison, Kennedy, Garrett and Gage; her dog Bingo; many nieces, nephews, other family and close friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Zaik Church, 888 S, Webb Rd., Wichita. In remembrance of Kristi, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 502 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
