Keith Joseph
Weber
March 6, 1965 — April 29, 2023
Wichita
Keith Joseph Weber March 6 1965- April 29 2023. We find happiness and comfort knowing Keith will live forever in our memories. He lived a good and happy life eagerly anticipating what each day had in store for him. Whenever we think of Keith, the first thing that comes to mind is his infectious smile. He had a smile for anyone who crossed his path, family friends, even strangers. Rest assured that he is watching over us with his brightest smile he has. Seeing him smile automatically made us smile in return. Keith loved so many things. Things we take for granted brought him much joy. He loved birthday celebrations. His or anyone else's. His eyes would light up when he saw the birthday cake, especially when the candles were lit. While singing the birthday song he was able to sign the song as well as adding his own personal touch. When it came time to open presents, his excitement was contagious. He would clap his hands, break into an enormous smile, place a hand on either side of his head and wiggle his fingers! Keith loved to sing. Especially Christmas carols. He sang them his own way, complete with extra words, or sometimes combining other carols. Keith loved to work. He looked forward to going to his job everyday. The staff said he was a hard worker and was very good with each task they assigned to him. It was an unwritten rule that the staff do their best not to show favoritism. That rule went to the wayside when it came to Keith. His personality was such a special gift, that if he was being the "class clown" or the ray of sunshine on a cloudy day, you couldn't help but just love him. Keith was a serious athlete and was heavily involved in Special Olympics from the time he was a small child until well into adulthood. His all time favorite activities were horseback riding and basketball. When we think of Keith even through sadness, thoughts of him bring measures of gladness that he was able to be a part of our lives for such a long time. We feel that now is the time for Keith to share his eternal goodness and sunshine with the family and friends waiting for him. Donations in Keith's name can be made to the Special Olympics.
