Miller, Karen M., 71 , retired RN, passed away at LifeCare Center of Andover. She was born on July 27, 1945 in Portland Oregon to Alvin and Marie "Hester" Allen. She earned her nursing degree from St. Francis Hospital and spent her lifetime helping others as a Registered Nurse. She married Kenneth W. Miller on June 1, 1968 at Friends Church, where they were members, and they spent the next 49 years together. Karen was very artistic and an avid reader. She enjoyed sewing and in fact was quite the seamstress and was a big Shockers fan. She was always a caregiver by nature and will be remembered as a great wife, mother and grandmother.

K aren is survived by her husband Kenneth; children Lynnie Kathryn and Tina Marie(Doug);  grandchildren Joel Miller, Jeremy Frazee(Jennifer), Justin Miller, Scott Gilliam, Parker Gilliam, Hunter Miller, Taylor Miller, Clifton, Amber, Ashley and Amanda; great grandchildren Summer Rose; Isabella Marie and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Alvin and Marie; brothers Larry Allen and Kenton Allen and a grandson Johnathon Frazee.

A celebration of Karen's life will be held at a later date.
