J. Codey Fisher, 46, passed away April 14, 2021. Codey began life April 27, 1974 in Wichita to Gregory Fisher & Alice K. Buess. Codey attended Linwood Elementary. Upon moving to Benton at age 9, he attended Benton Elementary & Circle High School.

Codey was a carpenter, roofer & a great cook & baker. He played guitar, gardened & loved to learn even after suffering TBI. He liked to have fun & make children & others laugh. He was his Uncle Mike's caretaker until Mike passed from MS. Codey was fearless, a smart, strong, caring, hard working young man. He was his little sister's protector. He and his brother Todd were as close as twins, born less than a year apart.

Codey is survived by his mother Alice; father Gregory; siblings Todd Fisher, Alice "Annabell" Buess; aunts & uncles Ann (Buess) Livingston, Charles Buess, Wayne Fisher. He was preceded in death by brother John Buess Wheeler, aunts Zoe Bell (Buess) Hurst, Teressa Fisher and his uncle, Michael Fisher.

Visitations are on Monday, April 26 from 11am to 7pm, and on Tuesday, April 27 from 11am to 2:30 pm. The funeral service is at 2:30pm, April 27, 2021 at Heritage Funeral Home, 502 W. Central, Andover, Kansas 67002.
