It's with heavy hearts, but cherished memories, we remember the life of Joshua Robert Mann, who tragically went to be with his Abba, his Yahweh on May 5, 2025 in Wichita, Kansas.

Joshua, when you were born, you couldn't have been more loved by your dad and I.  Your face was so bright & aware of everything going on around you.  Our  pastor's wife saw you at the hospital and said "look at those eyes Lisa, he is going to be so smart." You were smart in school rarely had to study.
You proved that working for Metal Art/Carbon Manufacturing in Wichita.  You easily learned how to run several of the CNC machines.  They saw your potential and had you teaching others.  In a short time you were a leadman and so proud of it.  You felt like you finally had a "man's" job with great pay, insurance, vacation, etc..

When your brother was born you loved on him and hugged him so tight all the time around the neck (yes…I have pictures).  You loved being a big brother…bossing him around, but also protecting him.  He's always looked up to you & how strong you were.

Then your baby sister came, and you called her "my princess".  You were gentler with her, but also very protective of her.  She knew if anyone picked on her, all she had to do was tell you & you would take care of it….and you did.

Shortly into your adult life, you had your own baby girl, Lorelei or "pookie bear " & later called her "L".  It was rough being a young parent, but even through your struggles with addiction, you worshiped her and no one dare not even think about hurting her or you would take them out…literally.  Anytime you spent time with her you always made it fun, made her laugh, played whatever she wanted to play, ate whatever she wanted to eat, etc…

Next you were blessed with an amazing son.  You couldn't have smiled bigger loving on him.  You would ask Liam all the time "why are you so handsome", like his dada.  You taught him how to pray in the morning and to pray at night before he went to sleep. You always wanted to make sure no matter where you were at, he was saying his prayers and telling him about Jesus.  You shared some very special memories with him before you went to be with Jesus that I know he will cherish.

So many of your friends have messaged me to tell me their stories about how you shared Jesus with them and how much they admired you for being able to talk so openly and freely about your faith. I truly admire that about you and desire to be more like you in my faith.  You would quote me scripture and always follow up with "Amen, mom. Amen."

Your demons of addiction that kept you chained from the life you so desperately wanted….are no more.  You will forever be in Jesus's arms and suffer no more!  IT IS FINISHED, YOUR BATTLE IS OVER!

Joshua was born on September 14, 1987 in Hutchinson, Kansas to Robert "Bob" Mann and Lisa (Noll) Webster. He is survived by his handsome and beloved eight year old son, Liam "boyo" Joshua Mann.  If Joshua couldn't start and end his day talking to Liam, he was so unhappy.  Liam was his whole world!  He loved Liam fiercely and his pride in him was constant and deep.

He is also survived by his beautiful 16-year-old daughter, Lorelei Ellen "Mann" Black. He adored his baby girl "L" and she was a light forever in his life no matter what he was going through.

He was so extremely proud of both of his children and they both brought so much joy to his life.

He is also survived by his younger brother, Andrew Mann of Hutchinson and his little sister Sarah "Mann" Welborn of Dennis, KS, along with many many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a lot of forever friends.  He was especially close with his Aunt B and Uncle D.

He was proceeded in death by his grandparents, Art and Betty Noll of Hutchinson, Kansas.  His grandmother prayed until her dying day for Joshua & never turned her back on him no matter what.  She told him, "that's what Jesus would do."
