DAIGLE, JOSEPH VICTOR "GILL", 59, a man of creativity, courage, and compassion, passed away on November 26, 2023. Born on September 2, 1964, in Quebec, Canada, to Rene and Louise Daigle, Gill's journey through life was marked by a passion for art and an unwavering commitment to those he loved.

As a young man, Gill's family uprooted and settled in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, where he attended high school. His innate talent for art led him to the Pennsylvania School of Arts, and upon graduation, he embarked on a fulfilling career in tattoo artistry. Anyone who received a tattoo from Gill likely experienced his concentration tongue, a glimpse into the dedication and skill he poured into his craft.

Later in life, Gill relocated to Kansas to be closer to his beloved grandson. There, he transitioned into the field of security, dedicating himself to keeping others safe. Known for his personable nature, Gill became a protector not only of his family but also of his wide circle of friends.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Gill embraced life with a sense of adventure. His fondness for the Renaissance fair saw him donning a pirate's attire, embodying the spirit of a free-spirited buccaneer. A true craftsman, Gill spent his leisure time immersed in his 3D printer, creating and painting various figurines that he would later share with others.

Gill's creativity extended beyond the physical realm, as he found joy in playing Dungeons and Dragons whenever the opportunity arose. His imaginative spirit and enthusiasm for the game brought laughter and camaraderie to those fortunate enough to join him in his adventures.

Gill is survived by his father, Rene Daigle, his brother, Mark Daigle, his sister, Sylvie Daigle, his son, Zachary, and his beloved grandson, also named Joel. He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Daigle. Joseph's memory will forever be cherished by those who knew him, and his legacy of creativity, kindness, and protective love will endure in the hearts of his family and friends.

In honoring Gill's memory, let us celebrate the vibrant and adventurous spirit that defined his life. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the eternal beauty of the art he created and the love he shared with those fortunate enough to be part of his journey.
