JOSEFINA PEÑAS OUANO aka Josie, Ate Baby, and Tita Bi (78 years old), peacefully passed away on 5/5/19 at her home in Wichita, KS, surrounded by her loving husband and children. Dr. Josie Ouano is a graduate of the University of Santo Tomas College of Medicine, Class of 1963 in Manila, Philippines , where she worked as a faculty of the college and glee club director until she migrated to the United States. She practiced Pathology, Microbiology, Parasitology, Theology, and Psychiatry.  She is the daughter of the late Manuel Diaz-Peñas, M.D. and Clarita Tabora Mariano.  She is survived by her husband Bibiano B. Ouano Jr., M.D. and also by her children Jose "Rusty" (Emalisa) Ouano: Isabella (16) and Christian (14), Bibiano Ouano III, Michael Ouano, Maria Cristina Ouano, Kathryn Ouano Mobley (Dorian): Malaika (5) and Marcelo (3), and David Ouano.  Her siblings are Merceditas, Renato, Joselito(+), Marites, Gerardo, Victoria and Antonia. She will be missed by many, but we know that she's directing the choir of angels now.
