Strotkamp, Johney Dean, 67 , passed away on September 17, 2022 in Burns, KS.

J ohney Dean Strotkamp was born to Vernon Aloysius and Ethel Bernice Lea Strotkamp on August 17, 1955, in Kansas City Mo. He went to school in Peabody Kansas. He joined the Army and was later honorably discharged. He worked in construction and was a heavy equipment operator and helped build the El Dorado Dam. Johney loved hunting and fishing with his boys when they were growing up. He was a quiet man, strong willed, who loved the Kansas City Chiefs and John Wayne movies and had a strong Christian belief. He will be greatly missed.

S urvivors include significant other Maryann Miller, sons Michael J. Strotkamp KC MO, Johney Ray Strotkamp and wife Lisa Park City KS. brother Donald R. Strorkamp and wife Mary, Burns KS. Special nieces Cindy (Strotkamp) Tappan Newton KS, Dawn (Strotkamp) Hacker Burns KS, grandchildren include, Austin Purk Wichita KS, Jayden and Mia Spencer Marion KS, Triston Epperson and wife Madi Wichita KS, Christian, Brenden and Alissa Campbell Park City KS. Great Grandchildren Brooklyn and Dean Epperson.
