Johnathan Phillip Harriman , of Midwest City, OK, passed away unexpectedly on December 20 th , 2021 in Andover, KS at the age of 46.  He was born January 23 rd , 1975 to Charles Harriman and Deborah Smithling. He spent his teen and early adult years not making the best choices, but really turned his life around in the past 20 years. His greatest achievement was graduating in August of 2020 from Bellevue University with a Master of Science in Management. He was certain that his life and the lives of his wife and children would benefit from this great accomplishment.

I n the past 8 years, he found his dream field of work in wireless telecommunications. He excelled at his job and was able to work up to being a tower foreman at Ericsson in his final year of life. Johnathan was a hard worker and went above and beyond to ensure the safety of his crew. Ericsson was his dream job, and he looked forward to working for them for many years to come.  In his spare time Johnathan enjoyed NASCAR, Anne Rice books, video games and Marvel/DC television shows and movies.

H e is survived by his parents Charles Harriman (Hawkeye, IA) and Deborah Smithling Harriman (Choctaw, OK), his paternal grandmother Jeannette Harriman (Oelwein, IA), his wife, Nancy Shimer, seven children, Dalton, Christopher, Vernon, Jareth, Sabrina, Dorian and Robert, two stepsons Cody and Anthony Halford, his honorary "second wife" Rikki Shimer (Churubusco, IN), one brother, Heath Miller, one sister, Theresa Miller (Lansing, MI) and sister-in law Brenda Shimer (Denison, IA).  Johnathan is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

M any people have passed in his lifetime.  In the past few years, though, a few individuals stand out. Those that predeceased Johnathan in this time is his maternal grandfather, Alfred Smithling, his uncles Chad Smithling, Dennis McLane, and David Harriman, and his aunt Patty Phinney.

P er Johnathan's wishes, he will be cremated. While a funeral will not be held, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
